Capital University College Visits SHRM MENA Annual Conference and Expo 2023

The SHRM MENA Annual Conference is an annual event organized by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This conference provides a platform for HR professionals, business leaders, and experts to come together, exchange ideas, and explore the latest trends and best practices in the field of human resources.

On November 1, 2023, the students of Capital University College were given the extraordinary opportunity to participate in the SHRM MENA Annual Conference and Expo, held at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai. For these budding professionals, this experience opened doors to a world of knowledge, networking, and exposure to the sphere of human resources. 

As the students arrived at the venue, they were guided to the registration process. The Unique Registration IDs were efficiently scanned, ensuring a smooth check-in, and they were promptly provided with their personalized Visitor Badges, marking the beginning of their enriching networking experience. 

The students had the privilege of attending sessions that ranged from talent management and development to diversity, human resources, artificial intelligence inclusion, and innovation. Beyond the knowledge gained from these sessions, the students also had the opportunity to network with the exhibiting companies. These interactions paved the way for connections and for gaining insights directly from industry experts. They actively engaged in a series of interactive activities hosted by these exhibitors.

One of the important aspects of the conference was building the gap and providing networking opportunities. Having said this, the students were able to engage with HR Professionals, business leaders, and fellow students, and made connections that could prove instrumental in their future careers. Further, the students were exposed to global trends and best practices, allowing them to have an idea of HR management in a broader context.
