#CampusTalks – Ms. Melon Perez, Managing Director, MelRish Studio

Ms. Melon Perez, Co-Founder and Managing Director of MelRish Studio, is a true visionary in the world of photography and design. She has captivated audiences worldwide with her unique approach to capturing moments and telling stories through her lens. She has likewise built an impressive body of work over the years. 

On October 17, 2023, the students of Capital University College had the privilege of hearing her story. Ms. Melon shared a Talk on Filmmaking: “How Videos Can Help You Improve Your Personal Brand.” In this talk, she shared her insights, and experiences and unveiled the transformative potential of personal branding. 

During her talk, Ms. Melon bridged the creative and professional dimensions of personal branding, making it particularly for the students in attendance. She kicked off her presentation by explaining the concept of personal branding and guiding her audience on how to identify and define their own personal brands.

In addition to these aspects, she highlighted the strengths and demographics of different platforms, enabling students to make informed decisions on where to share their video content effectively. 

Furthermore, Ms. Melon encouraged students to ask questions during the Open Forum. It is indeed her enthusiasm in responding to their inquiries that contributed to a dynamic and participatory learning experience for all. 

Before bidding farewell to the students, she offered a valuable piece of advice. She encouraged the students never to lose faith in themselves and to always maintain a belief in their abilities. She emphasized the significance of mastering their chosen craft wholeheartedly and applying that knowledge and expertise to their future endeavors.
