BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
The WEST Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) prepares students for the challenges of the modern business world and strengthens and develops their broader personal and professional skills. The students will study a variety of course modules in Business and Management to gain breadth and hone their skills, and gain a wide array of knowledge and skills. The program is designed to provide students with insight into research and to enable them to produce a high-quality dissertation or business project upon completion.
The BBA will enable students to develop their creative and strategic thinking, providing them with the necessary skills to become contributing members of the challenging business sector.
The BBA offered at WEST is presented in a general format, exposing students to various business-related modules. At the end of the program, they earn a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Course Content

Three-Year BBA Program
The BBA under the West Business School is accredited by the MFHEA and is WES approved. It is recognised worldwide and students have the opportunity to move into an accredited MBA on completion. Students study the program on a 3-year format with three terms per year offering 2 units of study each. Students may complete earlier should they come with a recognised Level 5 qualification. Advanced standing is decided by the WBS academic team and the student would be required to complete the rest of the units. There are exit qualifications available incase the student decides to exit the qualification without completion.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for the BBA programme under WEST Business School (Europe) are given below:
General Requirements:

- The ideal applicant would be:
a) Holding a high school certificate or equivalent, such as a matriculation certificate (MQF Level 4)
b) 18 years of age or above
c) English Language Proficiency: Candidates who are non-native speakers of English language or have not studied their undergraduate in English must undertake the IELTS at 6.5 or above The English language proficiency requirement may be waived if the student is a native speaker of English and/or they have completed their secondary education in a country where English is the official language or English was the first language of instruction where they graduated.
d) Digitally literate with fundamental skills in computing, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and the internet that would be useful for their studies.Mature learners may apply for the program should they have at least 3 years of work experience and above.Transfer students may apply for RPL with their prior accredited qualifications (RPCL) at Level 5. Credits can be awarded to level 5 only. The MFHEA has approved RPL policy.Each application will be assessed on their merit.
- The ideal applicant would be:

- RPEL / Advanced Standing for Applicants holding recognised L5 Diploma: Students already holding a level 5 diploma from a recognized awarding body may apply for RPL of their academic qualifications to gain entry into top-up units of the BBA. The applicant may get up to 120 ECTS (240 UK Credits) exempted towards the BBA. They would be required to do the 60 ECTS (120 UK Credits), including the dissertation.
Progression:
Graduates of the BBA programme are now ready with the right mix of skills to enter into the workforce or venture into entrepreneurship. Graduates may apply for further study into internationally accredited Master programs.
