Meet and Greet with Westcliff University
What a great day it has been for the students of Capital University College, having the privilege to participate in a meet-and-greet session with Dr. Marko Nino, Professor of Practice/ Affiliate Institution Program Chair, and Dr. George Sayegh, Dean Emeritus of the College of Business and College of Technology and Engineering of Westcliff University!
With great pride and honor, Capital University College welcomed Westcliff University on campus last May 1, 2024. Students were privileged to hear valuable insights into the realms of education. With their extensive knowledge and personal experiences, Dr. Marko Nino and Dr. George captivated the audience and inspired everyone through their speeches.
The meet-and-greet session proved to be a platform for not only exchanging ideas but also fostering meaningful connections between the Capital University College students and Westcliff University. True indeed, it was a day filled with an enriching exchange of ideas and sharing inspiring stories.
During the session, Dr. Marko Nino and Dr. George Sayegh mentioned the importance of education as a transformative tool to inspire and empower individuals. They provided insights into the successful journeys and experiences of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) students of Capital University College. They highlighted the achievements of the DBA graduates who have completed the program, along with the current students who are actively progressing towards their dissertation and are aiming to graduate from the program soon.
Following their presentation, Dr. Marko Nino and Dr. George Sayegh facilitated an Open Forum session where students eagerly asked their questions. Discussions ranged from academic pursuits to overcoming challenges, all to further personal and professional growth and advancement.
The guests have imparted inspirational advice to the students about learning and education. They emphasized the importance of staying curious and embracing a learning mindset that is beneficial to their career growth as an individual and checking ways how to explore diverse perspectives and actively engage in different learning opportunities made available for them.
